These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, purchase of products, and booking of workshops or services through driftandco.com By using our website, placing an order, subscribing to our newsletter, or booking a workshop or service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

About Drift & Co.

Drift & Co. offers coastal-inspired goods, creative workshops, and related services. Our products may include handmade, small-batch, vintage, found, natural, or shell-based pieces. Our workshops may include group workshops, private workshops, and other creative experiences.

Website Use

You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only. You may not use our website in a way that interferes with its operation, attempts to access private areas of the site, copies or misuses our content, or violates any applicable law. We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or restrict access to our website if we believe these Terms have been violated.

Product Information

We do our best to describe and photograph products accurately. However, colors, textures, scale, and finishes may appear differently depending on your screen or device. Because many Drift & Co. pieces may be handmade, small-batch, natural, vintage, or made with found materials, slight variations in color, size, texture, shell placement, markings, patina, and finish should be expected. These variations are part of the nature of the work and are not considered defects.

Orders & Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payment is due at checkout unless otherwise stated. Orders placed through our website are processed through Squarespace and its connected payment processor. Drift & Co. does not store full credit card numbers on our own systems.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order due to suspected fraud, inventory errors, pricing errors, product unavailability, or other issues that prevent us from fulfilling the order. If an order is canceled after payment has been processed, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

Sales Tax

Applicable sales tax will be calculated and collected at checkout as required by law.

Shipping

Shipping is available to the continental United States only.

Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days unless otherwise stated in the product description. Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary depending on carrier delays, holidays, weather, or other circumstances outside our control. If we are unable to ship an order within the stated timeframe, we will contact you with an updated timeline and any available options. Drift & Co. is not responsible for delays once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier.

Local Pickup

Local pickup may be available for certain orders in and around 30A, Santa Rosa Beach, Freeport, and surrounding areas. If you select local pickup, you will receive instructions when your order is ready. Orders must be picked up within [insert pickup window — e.g., 7 days] unless other arrangements are made. Orders not picked up within 7 days may be canceled, refunded, or subject to additional storage or handling policies at Drift & Co.’s discretion.

Damaged, Lost, or Missing Orders

Please inspect your order promptly upon delivery or pickup.

If an item arrives damaged, please contact us at [driftandco30@gmail.com] within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label. We will review the issue and determine whether a replacement, repair, refund, or store credit is appropriate.

Drift & Co. is not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier but lost, stolen, or misplaced after delivery. Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and secure.

Returns & Exchanges

All sales are final. Because many of our products are handmade, small-batch, natural, vintage, or limited in quantity, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed, except in the case of an approved damaged-item claim.

Workshops

Drift & Co. may offer studio workshops, private workshops, group workshops, off-site workshops, and other creative experiences. Workshop registration is confirmed once payment is received. Workshop fees include instruction, use of tools, basic materials, and one finished project unless otherwise stated in the workshop description.

Participants are responsible for arriving on time and following any instructions provided before or during the workshop.

Workshop Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

Cancellations made at least 2 days before the scheduled workshop may be eligible for [refund / store credit / transfer to another workshop]. Cancellations made less than 24-hours before the workshop are not eligible for refund. No-shows are not eligible for refund or credit.

If Drift & Co. needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to weather, illness, low enrollment, emergency, or other circumstances, we will contact registered participants and offer a rescheduled date / credit / refund].

Private Workshops & Events

Private workshops may require a deposit, minimum guest count, travel fee, or other agreed-upon terms. Private workshop deposits are [refundable / non-refundable] and are due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Final guest count, location details, and any remaining balance are due by [insert deadline]. Travel fees may apply for workshops held outside e.g., Santa Rosa Beach, 30A, Freeport, Miramar Beach, or West Panama City Beach.

Safety & Participation

Some workshops may involve shells, adhesives, tools, sharp edges, small objects, paints, finishes, or other materials that require care. Participants are responsible for using materials and tools safely and following instructions. Children may participate only if the workshop description allows it and must be accompanied by a responsible adult unless otherwise stated. By participating in a workshop, you acknowledge that creative activities involve some inherent risk and agree to participate responsibly.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are redeemable for eligible Drift & Co. products, workshops, or services. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Drift & Co. is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorized use of gift cards.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, product descriptions, workshop materials, logos, designs, and branding, belongs to Drift & Co. or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or use our content, images, designs, or workshop materials without prior written permission.

Photos & Workshop Content

Drift & Co. may photograph or record workshops, events, products, or finished participant work for marketing, social media, website, or archival purposes. If you do not want to be photographed or recorded during a workshop, please notify us before the workshop begins.

Third-Party Links & Services

Our website may include links to third-party websites, platforms, payment processors, shipping providers, or services. Drift & Co. is not responsible for the content, policies, availability, or practices of third-party websites or services.
